المهندس عبد الله عثمان المهدى من مواليد سنة ١٩٧٦ خريج كلية الهندسة قسم إتصالات جامعة الإسكندرية سنة ٢٠٠١ يعمل فى صيانة الأجهزة الطبية دخل غزة سنة ٢٠٠٥ ، سنة ٢٠٠٨ اختطفته قوات الأمن المصرية أثناء عودته من العريش فى شهر فبراير ٢٠١٠ ووجهت له تهم منها ١- تصنيع دوائر كهربائية لرصد طائرات القادة الصهاينة وتفجيرها عن بعد .٢- تجنيد الشباب المصرى وتدريبهم على القتال وإرسالهم لغزة وإنتظارهم عند العودة .٣- تجميع تبرعات لغزة .وهذه كلها تهم كاذبة تم تغطية وجوهه لمدة ٢٢ يوما بمقر أمن الدولة بمدينة نصر بالقاهرة وعلاوة على ذلك صعقه بالكهرباء لإنتزاع إعترافات منه لم يقم بها على الإطلاق ما زال معتقل حتى الآن بسجن طرة بمدينة حلوان ومر على إعتقالة إلى الآن ثمانية أشهر وما زال يقبع فى سجون الظلم والطغيان
